Memorial Service at St Marys

Deane Church at 4pm on Sunday 25th October. The Local churches will be holding a joint Memorial Service for those who have died in the last few years. We welcome all who wish to come and to remember relatives and friends. If there is anyone who particularly wish to remember please let Julia Davies know so they we can make sure their name is included in the service. It is a simple service where names are read out and a candle is lit and we remember those we have loved and miss. The service will be taken by Elizabeth Plant and Julia Davies.

Flower Arrangers

In response to our appeal we have had some people come forward to help with the flowers but we are still looking for possibly 3 or 4 more people who would be willing to help. Again we will help to train and support anyone who volunteers. We have now made an arrangement with a florist in Atherton to buy flowers from them making it easier to source. Please contact Gill Roberts or John the vicar for more information.

Donations

We have received a donation of £100 one from the Friday Toddler Group, these will go into our General Account which goes towards the expenses of running St andrews, parish share, heating and lighting, etc. A big thank you to the Friday Toddler Group.

Coffee Rota

At the time of writing this, there are no volunteers for October to serve coffee after the 10.45 service, please consider helping or we are not able to carry on. All you need to do is bring a couple of pints of milk and some biscuits. The list is on the noticeboard at the back of church.
